Embarking on a journey through New Zealand is a dream for many travellers, and the Kiwi Experience is a popular choice for those seeking an unforgettable adventure. In this review, we’ll explore five main talking points: price, guides, experiences, flexibility, and sociability as we delve into the highlights of the Kiwi Experience and discover why it’s a fantastic option for exploring the stunning landscapes of New Zealand. 

Price: Starting. with perhaps the worse area of the Kiwi Experience, it is by no means cheap. But with all considered offers a reasonably priced package that includes transportation, accommodation recommendations, and a small selection of hand-picked free activities. It is worth noting that travelling independently, such as renting a Campervan, can be a more cost-effective option and for budget-conscious travellers, comparing prices and considering alternative travel options may be worthwhile. This being said and money aside, the other points I mention below are why I think this is a great way to see New Zealand.

Guides: One of the standout features of the Kiwi Experience is the knowledgeable and friendly bus driver/guide. These guides are not only experienced drivers but also serve as knowledgeable tour guides, offering insights into the local culture, history, and hidden gems of New Zealand. Their sociable nature creates a welcoming atmosphere and ensures that everyone on board has a great time. 

Experiences: The Kiwi Experience shines when it comes to curating unforgettable experiences. The team hand-selects the best activities and attractions, saving you the time and effort of researching and planning all of this. This allows you to pick and choose from a variety of experiences and pay accordingly. Whether you’re seeking adrenaline-pumping adventures, cultural encounters, or scenic explorations, the Kiwi Experience has you covered. 

Flexibility: Flexibility is a key advantage of traveling with the Kiwi Experience. If you find a destination particularly captivating and want to spend more time there, you can easily communicate your plans to your guide. They will assist you in arranging your accommodations and seamlessly book you onto the next bus whenever you’re ready to continue your journey. This level of flexibility allows you to tailor your itinerary and make the most of each destination. 

Sociability: One of the significant benefits of the Kiwi Experience is the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. In my experience, hostels in New Zealand did not always offer the same level of social interaction as in other parts of the world, the Kiwi Experience creates a sociable environment where you meet others and travel together on a similar route. Traveling with a group of fellow adventurers fosters a sense of camaraderie, making it easy to form new friendships and share incredible experiences together. 

The Kiwi Experience offers an exciting and convenient way to explore the magnificent landscapes of New Zealand which I definitely recommend. While it may not be the cheapest option compared to independent travel, the Kiwi Experience provides a curated selection of activities, knowledgeable guides, flexibility in planning, and a sociable environment that can enhance your overall experience.
