Popular routes/destinations

New Zealand is split into two Islands – Te Ika-a-Māui (North) and Te Waipounamu (South) and can be experienced in either direction. I recommend begining your journey in Auckland, the vibrant city of sails, and then making your way to the geothermal wonderland of Rotorua. After, explore the stunning landscapes of the Tongariro National Park and Taupo before heading to Wellington, the country’s capital, known for its vibrant arts scene and nightlife.

Catch a ferry across the picturesque Cook Strait to the South Island and discover the charming town of Nelson, a gateway to the stunning Abel Tasman National Park. Continue your adventure along the West Coast, marveling at the rugged beauty of Punakaiki’s Pancake Rocks and the magnificent Franz Josef Glacier. Journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Wanaka and Queenstown, renowned for their outdoor activities and adrenaline-pumping adventures. Head south to Te Anau, the hub for the spellbinding Fiordland National Park, and experience the grandeur of Milford Sound or Doubtful Sound. From there, make your way to Dunedin, a city rich in Scottish heritage, and explore the incredible wildlife of the Otago Peninsula. Finally, end your journey by returning to the adventure capital of New Zealand, Queenstown, where you can bungee jump, go skydiving, or simply enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
